I’m not proud to say this, but in my free time, I like to research about skincare products and have a mental debate with myself on whether or not to buy the product. The factors that I consider while purchasing skincare products are ingredients, quantity and most importantly, price! I’m pretty frugal when it comes to shopping, but when it comes to skincare, I tend to loosen the purse strings because that’s one area I can’t compromise on. Up until a few days ago, I thought my skincare routine was more on the expensive side. However, after I read an article about Kim Kardashian West‘s favourite face cream, I began questioning everything! Her favourite face cream costs more than what some people pay as rent. So I was super curious to know what are the world’s most expensive beauty products and here’s what I found:

If I had to describe everything this expensive face mask stands for then it would be—luxury. This expensive beauty product costs $385 (approximately INR 29,368/-), and it promises to repair the damage caused to your skin due to emotional and environmental stress. It helps hydrate your skin, reduces redness and inflammation, and it also adds radiance to your skin. Plus the packaging is divine!
2. La Prairie Cellular Serum Platinum Rare
Serums are packed with nutrients and active ingredients; that’s why they are often expensive. However, this serum is in a league of its own; it costs $805 (approximately INR 61,405/-). It contains colloidal platinum, a very rare precious metal which helps protect and maintain the skin’s moisture barrier. This luxury serum helps hydrate and rejuvenate your skin.
3. Clive Christian Baies Rose Iconic Elixir
Clive Christian is one of Britain’s oldest perfume houses. They craft pure perfumes with natural ingredients. This perfume, in particular, was crafted to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Clive Christian and it costs $2,500 (approximately INR 1,90,700/-). This luxurious perfume contains babies rose, rosemary and amber.
