Tom Cruise is known to be a daredevil when it comes to stunts for his big-budget action films. Be it sizing up the 2nd tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol or hanging off the side of an airplane mid-flight. But this recent news about the actor is probably the biggest stunt he’s going to pull off if it happens.

According to Deadline, Tom Cruise and Elon Musk are joining hands to shoot a film in space. While there is still no production house on board for the project yet, reports suggest that Tom and Elon’s aviation company Space X are in talks with NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) for filming a movie on a Space X vessel. It’s supposed to be an action-adventure film.

If this comes through, Tom Cruise will be the first one to star in a film that’s actually shot in space. How cool would that be?
