Over the past few years, my shower caddy has been cluttered with different body washes and shower oils. Recently, however, I ran out of my staples and had to turn to a product that I haven’t used in a while i.e. a bar of soap. Whilst I was initially wary, it turns out that these new-age soaps are nothing like the ones of the past that used to make my skin dry and itchy! Here are a few great ones to try.
1. Forest Essentials Luxury Sugar Soap Sandalwood & Turmeric
Enriched with sandalwood, raw cane sugar and turmeric, this gentle soap is perfect for the summer. Not only does it effectively take off all signs of sweat and grime, but also cools down the body. If you are dealing with acne or pigmentation, this is the one to get your hands on.
2. Clinique Facial Soap
If your regular face washes are drying out your skin, try out this moisturizing soap. The glycerin-based former lathers up easily to cleanse the skin, but never makes your face feel tight, inflamed or parched.

I can vouch for this product personally. Not only does it leave my body feeling refreshed and super clean, but also deliver soft and supple skin like no other. Plus, the price point is hard to beat!
4. Bioré Charcoal Bar
Struggling with clogged pores and blackheads? Look no further than this hardcore bar of soap. Infused with charcoal, it works to detoxify your face, whilst the exfoliating jojoba beads help buff off any dead skin. It also contains peppermint oil, which imparts an instant cooling sensation that feels heavenly amidst all the heat and humidity.

For a truly luxurious experience, invest in this decadent soap. Formulated with argan oil, shea butter and aloe leaf extract, this buttery bar plumps up the skin and keeps it smooth throughout the day. The signature scent is just a bonus.
