The actress was questioned by fans and followers about whether she had COVID-19 because of a red eye. She went live on her Instagram to clear this misunderstanding, saying her red eye was because of an eye infection that she is getting treated for. She said, “The reason I came live is because some of you sent me messages of concern, asking if I have got coronavirus and what is happening. Thank you so much for your concern. No, I haven’t got coronavirus.”
She added:
Guys, educate yourselves, before making any suggestions to anyone. When you don’t even know about the symptoms of any sort of sickness, you can’t really be a doctor and you can’t be making assumptions.

Mandana said that the infection may have been caused because she was cleaning her house with some chemicals and may have accidentally touched her eyes with her hands. She asked her followers to be careful of this at home.
