Love snackin’ but don’t wanna order in? Why not try your hands on an easy snack recipe! Our gal Vidhi Doshi a.k.a. @ramenhairedgirl sent in her recipe for crispy veggies in garlic and soy sauce which looks bomb. If you’re a fan of snacking in the evening and want to try out something new, I’d suggest this is the recipe. It’s super easy and can be paired with a warm cup of chai. What You’ll Need

3 cups chopped veggies (all cut into bite-sized pieces):

Babycorn

Capsicum

Zucchini

Cabbage

Carrots

French beans

1/2 cup cornflour

1/2 cup whole wheat flour

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tbsp soy sauce

Salt to taste

Oil to deep fry

2 tsp oil

2 1/2 tbsp finely chopped garlic

3 spring onion whites, finely chopped

1 red or green chilli finely chopped

1 tbsp soy sauce

1/4 cup spring onion greens

Salt to taste

Here’s How You Can Put It All Together

Step 1: Mix the cornflour, flour, salt, pepper and soy sauce in a bowl and mix.

Step 2: Add 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp water gradually while whisking to avoid any lumps. It should be a thick batter so that they coat the veggies.

Step 3: Add a few veggies to the batter and toss to coat.

Step 4: Heat the oil and deep fry a few veggies at a time to get a nice crunchy texture. Drain on a paper towel.

Step 5: Heat oil in a separate pan, add the garlic, chillies and spring onions and sauté for 1 minute on a medium-high flame.

Step 6: Add the soy sauce and the fried veggies and toss to coat. Cook for 1 minute.

Step 7: Garnish with some spring onion greens and serve hot!
