It’s always very important to make a space your own and have bits of your personality reflect in wherever you reside or work. Alia Bhatt launched her own production house last year called the Eternal Sunshine Productions. So that’s exactly what she wanted when it came to designing an office space for her company.
Images of her brand new office are circulating online and I must say, it looks great! It’s all about sunshine, warm tones and cozy feels! The 2,800 sq ft office has been designed by Rupin Suchak, who was also the production designer of her film ‘Dear Zindagi‘.
Talking to IANS about it, Alia says:
Rupin got the pulse of what I wanted to do with my office. He got the brief spot-on and effortlessly. The space is now an extension of my personality and that is exactly how I had envisaged. He has made the place look more spacious, including a surprise element or two breaking monotony, yet giving it an overlay of serenity and coziness.

Talking about how he approached the design of Alia’s office, Rupin says:
Alia had a clear vision in mind about how she wanted certain things in her office. She wanted a very happy-go-lucky feel with unconventional and graphic art corners around. We added a lot of Turkish colour palettes to the space which had a muted neutral base. Floor pillows, leather poufs, and comfortable chairs definitely add to the cosy atmospheres of boho interiors. This office space in a way was a great opportunity for her to express her love of art and design.
Alia also added that she could not wait for the lockdown to be over so she can start using the space and have her script reading sessions and meetings in there.
