Pulkit Samrat won our hearts with his his portrayal of the charming and fun boy-next-door in his films like Bittoo Boss and Fukrey. His chocolate boy looks and charm made him an instant favourite among the audiences. Now, he is back to the romantic comedy genre with filmmaker Dhiraj Kumar‘s next, Suswagatam Khushamadeed.
Dhiraj, who helmed the Sharman Joshi starrer ‘Kaashi: In Search Of Ganga‘, is all set for his next venture — Suswagatam Khushamadeed. He will be teaming up again with writer Manish Kishore, who wrote Kaashi. According to the buzz, the movie is set to be a romantic-comedy and will feature Pulkit in the lead role.
Confirming the news, Dhiraj says:
I’m always searching for unique and fresh stories so I am really excited for this project. All that I can reveal right now is that it’s a fun film written by my friend Manish Kishore. People will enjoy it. Yes, we have signed Pulkit Samrat for the movie. He is a really talented actor and the role really suits him. I look forward to working with him.
The film will be produced under the banner of Insite India, Meta4Films Production, and Yellow Ant Productions.
Pulkit’s latest film, Haathi Mere Saathi was up for release in April, which has gotten pushed for later owing to the COVID-19 lockdown. He is spending the lockdown with girlfriend Kriti Kharbanda and they are winning the internet with their super cute shenanigans!
