When it comes to taking on any role and making it his own, Vicky Kaushal is an absolute pro and I am sure y’all will agree! Be it Masaan, URI: The Surgical Strike or his stint in Manmarziyaan, they are all diverse characters and he has done justice to each one of these roles. Doing that requires immense professionalism and dedication, and Vicky is all about it!

A journalist recently took to their Twitter to talk about how Vicky once continued filming for a sequence in Anurag Kashyap‘s Manmarziyaan even after suffering an injury during the scene. He compares Vicky’s determination to that of Leonardo Di Carprio‘s, who also cut his hand during a scene in Django Unchained, but continued filming for it — all while staying in character.

Vicky shared this tweet saying he didn’t even realise he cut his face while filming and that he is glad Anurag didn’t say ‘cut’. Loving the wordplay here!

Have a look at the tweet:

Manmarziyaan is a romantic drama that also stars Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles and explores a love triangle between them. And I must say, Vicky played the punk and immature part-time DJ with crazy hair to perfection!

On the work front, Vicky will next be seen in Shoojit Sircar‘s, Sardar Udham Singh. He took to his social media yesterday to announce that the post production on the film is beginning from today.

Now this is exciting! Cannot wait to see him on screen super soon.
