If A.R. Rahman is composing music for a film, and it stars an amazing actor like Nawazuddin Siddiqui in it, it is a film I am already looking forward to. Now, to make things more interesting, A. R. Rahman is all set to don another hat in the film. Yes, Mr Rahman is all set to co-produce this film, titled No Man’s Land.

Nawazuddin took to his social media to unveil the news and expressed his happiness on having the award-winning music composer on board.

Have a look at his post:

This film, directed by Bangladeshi filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, is said to be a US-India-Bangladeshi film. It has Nawaz in the lead role opposite Australian theatre actor Megan Mitchell and Bangladeshi musician and actor Tahsan Rahman Khan.

In an article on Variety, Nawazuddin opened up about shooting for the film and said:

The filming experience for this project was challenging but a fulfilling one. A.R. Rahman’s brilliance will definitely make the film richer.

This is not Rahman’s first production though. The Variety article mentions that he has previously produced a film called ’99 Songs’ that premiered at Busan last year. Worldwide release of the film is on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

I, for sure, cannot wait to watch this film and experience both Nawaz and A. R. Rahman create magic on screen!
