The Bollywood industry has lost another gem today. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput died of suicide at his residence in Mumbai. The 34-year-old actor was reportedly found hanging at his home in Bandra. While the industry and the nation are still coping up with Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, and Wajid Khan‘s death, Bollywood has to deal with yet another painful loss.
The actor debuted in Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor’ Kai Po Che and he was last seen in Chhichhore. He starred opposite Shraddha Kapoor in the film, which emerged as a hit at the box office. He also featured in PK, Kedarnath, Shudh Desi Romance and MS Dhoni: The Untold Journey.
According to the reports, the actor was living alone amid the nationwide lockdown. It was just a few days ago that the actor’s former manager Disha Salian was found dead. The post-mortem reports are awaited.
It is indeed a very sad day for the Bollywood industry and the nation. May his soul rest in peace.
