The COVID-19 lockdown has especially been a tough situation for the stray animals on the road who are left to fend for themselves. A lot of celebrities and personalities have been speaking about how it is our responsibility to care for them in these tough times. Even otherwise, many people are actually stepping out and making sure to feed and care for them. This shows that there is some ray of hope for these animals.
In our latest episode of Some Good News India, we shine light on many such citizens from all across the country who are quietly doing their bit. One such person is 22-year-old Vibha Tomar, who is an animal lover and a veterinary student from Delhi.
Through her organisation, Oscar For Life Foundation, she feeds almost 350 dogs every day. We wanted to send her some love and surprised her with a video call from one of her favourite actors — Arjun Kapoor. Arjun spoke to Vibha about the great work she is doing and said that he salutes her for how selfless and thoughtful her actions are. He encouraged her to continue doing what she does best and wished her all the luck! Vibha was clearly stoked and was thrilled that Arjun encouraged and supported her in her endeavour.
