Filmmaker Abhinav Singh Kashyap Says All His Projects Have Been Sabotaged By Salman Khan's Family

In his long social media post, he explained that the reason he opted out of Dabangg 2 was because Arbaaz Khan, along with his brothers Salman Khan and Sohail Khan were trying to control his career by bullying him. Abhinav went on to also reveal that Arbaaz sabotaged his second project with Shree Ashtavinayak Films. The head of Shree Ashtavinayak Films, Raj Mehta was apparently threatened by the Khans to not collaborate with Abhinav.

The filmmaker also said:

The sustained gaslighting and bullying destroyed my mental health and that of my family and led to my divorce and breaking up of my family in 2017.

In his post, Abhinav has also shed light on the wiles of talent managers and production houses in Bollywood. He said, “These people don’t make careers. They ruin your career and life.” He also added that he “suffered personally for a decade.”

Abhinav Singh Kashyap, who is also filmmaker Anurag Kashyap‘s brother, last directed Besharam starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Pallavi Sharda in 2013.
