The untimely demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput has the whole country shocked. Along with grief, there are a lot of speculations as to why the actor took a drastic step like suicide. Many across the internet are pointing figures and Bollywood bigwigs and nepotism camps that only support star kids to grow within the industry. Many big director-producer/actor names like Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ekta Kapoor, and Salman Khan have come under the scanner and even a case has been filed against them for reportedly pushing the actor over the ledge.
While Ekta expressed her concern with such convoluted theories on her Instagram and reminded people that she had in fact given Sushant his big break by launching him, the others have chosen to remain silent. Not just this now reports say that Ekta and Sushant always admired each other and were really good friends.
But a new report in Bollywood Hungama suggests that Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Sushant shared a fond relationship. In fact, he was offered an SLB movie four different times. But it was due to date issues that things didn’t materialize. It suggested that both of them were fond of each other and their work.
The source also reminded that Sushant had even supported the director through the Padmaavat controversy bu taking a strong stand against the violence and even dropping Rajput from his name.
The Mumbai police is currently investigating the actor’s suicide and is questioning family and friends for the same.
