In the year 2016, Diljit Dosanjh made his debut in Bollywood with Udta Punjab. It’s been four years since the release and the actor says he has learnt a lot from the movie.

The star took to his Instagram to share a clip of his from the movie. His caption read, “Baut kuch seekha es film se. (Learned a lot from this film). Thx To My Fav. Director #Abhishekchaubey Sir & #honeytrehan Bhaji #4YearsofUdtaPunjab #diljitdosanjh.”

Have a look at the post:

Helmed by Abhishek Chaubey, the film which also features Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan revolves around the issue of drug abuse by the youth in Punjab.

Udta Punjab faced a lot of trouble from Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). And consequentially, the producers were asked to make a total of 89 cuts in the film.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Diljit’s latest movie, Good Newwz is all geared up for a re-release in Dubai’s theatres as a step to regain normalcy after the Coronavirus pandemic.

Good Newwz also stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani in lead roles. It revolves around two couples who are trying to have a baby through IVF and the confusions that ensue.

Diljit is also gearing up for his new album, ‘Goat‘. The actor took to his Instagram to share the news, and I surely can’t wait for it!
