Fathers always go above and beyond to support, provide, nurture and shape their child’s life. They are our first-ever role models and sources of strength, and while we celebrate our fathers/father figures every single day, Father’s Day is here for us to shower them with that extra love, pamper them silly and express heartfelt gratitude! As the world renowned photographer, Anne Geddes rightly said,

Any man can be a father but it takes someone special to be a Dad.

Team MissMalini exudes positivity, confidence, creativity and passion, which in no small part is because of their dads. Each one has an inspiring story to share. Sure their dashing dads have motivated them throughout! Here is a list of insightful life lessons and hacks gotten from the dearest daddies of Team MissMalini.

2. Pooja Maheshwary, Features Writer

Now we know where Pooja gets her generosity from! She says,

One life hack I received from my dad—My dad is very kind and generous— annoyingly so. Tell him you like his jacket and he’ll whip it off and urge you to keep it. True story. It’s always a bone of contention when he goes out of his way to help people, especially those who don’t deserve it, and especially at a personal cost. But he always tells me, ‘If someone could use your help, always help them. Money would come and go, but their blessings would stay with you forever.’ Now, how do you argue with that logic, haha? But weirdly enough, everytime I need to make a tough decision in life, I always think, what would my dad do? And bingo, the answer just appears! 🙂

Alisha shares how she learnt the importance of planning ahead, all thanks to her dad’s solid advice!

My dad’s one standard line to all his children, nieces and nephews and even my friends is this: Always remember the 5 Ps: Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance. And I have to tell you, I scoffed and rolled my eyes at him all the time with an,”I know, I know!” but I have to say that that one line has helped me through my career A LOT. Maybe after all, some of his methodical ways actually rubbed off on me too.
