Hours after singer Sonu Nigam heavily criticised and called out T-Series chairman Bhushan Kumar in an explosive video, the chairman’s wife, Divya Khosla Kumar got back at the singer and called him “thankless”. She said it was their company who gave him his significant break in the music industry. She asked him that if he had so many issues with the company, why he didn’t confront them before.
On Monday, Sonu went on his social media to publicly warn Bhushan Kumar to not poke him. He also revealed that Bhushan had earlier requested him to record an album for T-Series. He also added that Bhushan pleaded to introduce him to Smita Thackeray, Bal Thackeray and save him from gangster Abu Salem.

In the earlier video posted by Sonu Nigam on Instagram after the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the singer urged music companies to be kind and welcoming towards newcomers and budding artists. He said that otherwise, more artists will die by suicide, adding, “Today actor Sushant Singh Rajput has died, tomorrow it can be a singer, writer, lyricist as well”.
