If there’s one outfit that has gained prominence over the years, it would most definitely be the pantsuit. From stars to influencers alike, pantsuits have been given a huge nod of approval. Either as casual evening-wear, red carpets or office-appropriate outfit, I can’t think of one occasion they’re not suitable for. What’s more, celebrities were spotted wearing them regularly until the pandemic forced everyone to self-quarantine. Thanks to the pandemic, again, for also cancelling the real-time fashion events of the year—The Annual Met Gala and The Cannes Film Festival. However, the talented Kangana Ranaut recently attended the virtual version of the festival—Indian Pavilion at Cannes Film Market 2020 from the comfort of her home. Putting her best fashion foot forward, the actress opted for an all-white pantsuit for the event and, needless to say, aced the boardroom-chic look!

Styled by fashion connoisseur Ami Patel, it is no surprise that even at home, Kangana’s outfit was one for the books. For the virtual red carpet appearance at Cannes, the actor opted for a pristine white pantsuit that she teamed with a pair of white, pointed heels. The pantsuit comprised an off-white, double-breasted blazer with chunky, gold buttons, that she wore over a plain white t-shirt. A pair of crisp, white, cigarette pants with black-tinted sunglasses concluded her look.
For someone so bold and outspoken, pantsuits sure do reflect that personality, no? I, for one, am always on the lookout for celebrities donning pantsuits.
