Abhishek Bachchan has been doing a #RoadTo20 series on his Instagram lately, looking back at his 20 years in the film industry. He has been sharing his memories and some lovely anecdotes about each of his landmark films. Recently, Abhishek shared his experience shooting for Dhoom 3 in 2013 alongside Aamir Khan. While Abhishek has always been a part of the Dhoom franchise, it was the first time Aamir joined them.

He writes that it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with Aamir, but given another chance, he would want to be directed by him. He adds, “Aamir, if you’re reading this, kindly consider my request!”. AB Jr. appreciates Aamir for how down-to-earth and helpful he was when they would do their scenes together.

Sharing a sweet anecdote of them on sets, he says:

One of my fondest memories was when we shot a few scenes in Six Flags amusement park in Chicago. The park was shut and it was just the unit that was allowed in. The minute Aamir and I would get the shortest of breaks, we’d run off the the closest roller-coaster and ask them put it on just for us. What a luxury!!! Good times.

This is such a sweet post! We would love to see Aamir direct Abhishek in a movie some day.

Abhishek also mentioned how it was great working with the director of Dhoom 3 and good friend, Victor, his constant companion in every Dhoom film, Uday Chopra, and the lovely Katrina Kaif.

On the work front, the actor is gearing up for the release of the Amazon Original web series, Breathe, very soon!
