Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death has left the whole nation in shock. While we’re all trying to grapple at the harsh reality of his demise, police continue to investigate the reason behind his sudden death. Most recently his co-star from his last movie, Dil Bechara Sanjana Sanghi was called in by the Mumbai police for questioning. Reports suggested that the actress gave her statement and was at the police station for quite a few hours.

Actor Shekar Suman had recently visited Sushant’s family in Patna to extend condolences where they held a prayer meeting for the late actor. Shekar Suman along with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav held a press conference in Bihar just to talk about some concerns he had regarding Sushant’s death. The actor ended up demanding a CBI enquiry. But, Sushant’s family seems quite put off by this. Especially because the press conference was held under a political banner. They suspect that the actor is using Sushant’s demise to his advantage for a political gimmick. Moreover, right after the press conference, Shekar Suman joined RJD.

According to a report in Zee News, Sushant’s family is of the opinion that they are capable of demanding a CBI enquiry if need be. And holding a press conference in Bihar for the same when the investigation is ongoing in Mumbai is just political mileage, they said. The family also said that they’re waiting for the police investigation report and political intervention is not needed. In fact, they revealed that if need be, there are political people within the family itself who can take this up.

Turns out nobody from the family was even informed about the press conference.

The family is also allegedly unhappy with Sushant’s friend Sandip Ssingh who spoke to the media immediately after the actor’s death saying there’s nothing suspicious by giving a clean chit to the film industry. Apparently, Sandip Ssingh was also present alongside Shekar Suman and Teshawi Yadav at the Patna press conference.
