Sushant Singh Rajput‘s untimely death by suicide has shaken up the entire industry. He was a young, talented and supremely intelligent man who we would have loved to see more of. His friends, colleagues and fans dedicated social media posts and looked back at his films and life in a bid to remember the person he was. Singer Neha Kakkar also came forward and sang a medley of songs from Sushant’s films as a tribute to the late actor.

The first song is called ‘Jaan Nisaar’ from the film Kedarnath. The second song is from his lastest film, Chhichhore called ‘Khairiyat’. While Jaan Nisaar was composed by Amit Trivedi, Khairiyat was composed by Pritam. Both the songs have been crooned originally by the soulful, Arijit Singh. Neha combines them both and sings in her own way, her voice and words reflecting her thoughts and feelings — in memory of Sushant.

Isn’t this just so soulful and beautiful? This tribute had all the heart and soul and is such a nice way to remember Sushant by.

On Sushant’s death on the 14th of June, Neha took to her Instagram to mourn the loss and shared a lovely picture of his with a little girl.

Coming back to the song, I sure think it’s a lovely gesture by Neha!
