Ranveer Singh who celebrated his 35th birthday with his lady love Deepika Padukone in lockdown is awaiting the release of one of his most anticipated movies, ’83. The actor has been currently keeping low on social media except for his thoughtful selfies and a sudden cameo on Ayushmann Khurrana‘s Instagram live. Now news has it that Ranveer is going to be a part of yet another really famous project.
We all know that Ranveer has created magic on screen with his favourite director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and he’s about to do it for the fourth time. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Ranveer is set to make a guest appearance in SLB’s Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt as the lead. The report suggests that Ranveer will make a powerful cameo in the film. A source revealed that Ranveer can’t say no to Sanjay Leela Bhansali and to top it off the project is being headlined by Alia who is a good friend. So, reportedly he had no reason to decline the offer.
Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi‘s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai about Gangubai Kothewali, the madam of a brothel in Kamathipura. The film also stars Emraan Hashmi, Ajay Devgn, and Shantanu Maheshwari in major roles.
