While the debate on nepotism is growing from bad to worse, TV host and actor Shekar Suman‘s son Adhyayan Suman says everyone is missing out on what the real problem is. He claimed that the real problem is groupism and not nepotism. He revealed that he had also fallen prey to this mechanism of groupism and many of his projects were shelved.

While talking to Bollywood Bubble, he talked in detail about what he thought about the workings of the industry.

He said:

Power dynamics and groupism are there in the industry since years. It happened with me too. My 14 films were shelved and the box-office collection of my films were projected wrongly. People haven’t paid attention to this earlier. It’s very unfortunate that we required a Sushant Singh Rajput to commit suicide for people to realise.

He requested people to stop fighting for nepotism and start fighting groupism camps and production houses that don’t allow talented actors in the industry.

Meanwhile, Adhyayan’s father Shekar Suman has been on top of the list of people who are demanding that CBI take over the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput‘s demise. He even travelled to Patna to meet Sushant’s family. Sushant’s family later alleged that they weren’t in favour of Shekar Suman and Sandip Ssingh using the actor’s death for political gains. The same day that Shekar Suman spoke about Sushant’s case in Bihar he joined the political party RJD.
