Today marks one month of Sushant Singh Rajput‘s tragic death by suicide. And though it has been a month since, his friends and fans are still trying to come to terms with his loss. Right after his death, we saw his Pavitra Rishta co-star and ex-partner, Ankita Lokhande, rush to be by his family’s side. She was reportedly devastated by his loss.
Though she didn’t express her thoughts on social media, she took to her Instagram today to share a picture in Sushant’s memory. Marking one month of Sushant’s death, Ankita lit a diya in her Puja room, praying for his soul. She wrote, “CHILD Of GOD“.

Ankita was Sushant’s very first co-star in the serial, Pavitra Rishta. They began dating post that and were together for six years after. They split in 2016. Ankita later found love again in businessman, Vicky Jain. While it was a difficult for her to move on from the break-up, Ankita had reportedly stayed in touch with his family. Post Sushant’s death, a lot of people wished that he and Ankita had stayed together, and in turn, they started posting hate comments on Vicky Jain’s profile. Read more about it here.
