On 14th June 2020, we all woke up to the terrible news of Sushant Singh Rajput passing away. While we’re still trying to collectively deal with this loss, we can’t even imagine what his family, friends, and loved ones are going through. But with everything going on, social media has turned into a place of hate and negativity with many angry fans throwing rude comments at star kids, Bollywood biggies and Sushant’s girlfriend, and his exes. Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has also been at the receiving end of this hate. With many mean social media users speculating that it was because of her Sushant might have taken the drastic step. Moreover, even a complaint was filed against the actress in relation to Sushant’s demise. The actress like many other celebrities turned off her comments on Instagram because of the same.
But the actress refused to post or react in any way to everything that was going on around her. But today, Rhea changed her WhatsApp display picture to one of her and Sushant from happier times.

Rhea had attended Sushant’s funeral in silence and looked truly heartbroken. She continued to remain silent on social media as well up until now. Today marks one month of losing Sushant and Rhea has finally opened up about her loss. She just posted two pictures of Sushant and her from happier times and penned an emotional note for her late boyfriend. In the note, she mentioned it had been 30 days of losing him but a lifetime of loving him. She revealed that she was still struggling to face her emotions. She also said that she knew that he was in a much more peaceful place now but she will always wish for him to come back to her.

Even as people who knew Sushant from a distance continue to struggle coming to terms with his death, we can’t even imagine his near and dear one. But as Rhea mentioned, we will always remember you as the brightest star in the sky.
