🧿Samisha Shetty Kundra completes 40 days today🧿 The first milestone for a mother and child, revered in Hinduism. 😇 Ideally, as a ritual we would have “stepped out of the house “ for the “FIRST” time and taken her to a temple for blessings, but as things stand today don’t have that option. Hence, will seek blessings at our mandir at home. It only makes me realise that there are so many other things we should be grateful for even if some things don’t go as per plan. So, for the next 20 days, I’m going to document one thing that I’m grateful for EVERY DAY. Starting with TODAY, I’m so grateful for just having a healthy family by my side. Let’s use this time to thank the universe for all the wonderful things and daily manifest positivity in our lives. Do join me in this exercise stating what YOU are grateful for. Tell me in the comments below or post something on your handle.🌈❤️😇 Love and Gratitude, SSK . . . . . #SamishaShettyKundra #20DaysOfGratefulness #gratitude #blessed #family #40days #milestones #thankful #love

Shilpa Shetty Kundra is truly an inspiration in the true sense. At 45, she is an entrepreneur, a fitness enthusiast, and just became a mother to baby Samisha Shetty Kundra a few months ago. Shilpa is already a mother to her eight-year-old son Viaan Raj Kundra. She and her husband Raj Kundra became parents to Samisha through surrogacy. Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Shilpa says that it is surreal when people ask her about her “children”.

Deciding to become a mother after all this time isn’t an easy decision and Shilpa agrees. Talking to the publication, she says it takes guts to become a mother to a newborn again at 45. The first time around with her son, Viaan, she says she felt like a cow as she was breast-feeding and tired all the time. She also reveals that she suffered from postpartum depression, but jumped out of it in two weeks. Talking about her daughter Samisha, she says that she says that she is grateful for all this time she has got with her baby owing to the lockdown, which was announced just weeks after they brought Samisha home.

On the work front, Shilpa is all set to come back on screen after a 13 years hiatus with the film, Nikamma. She is also going to star in Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2.
