Actor and Television host Shekar Suman has been at the forefront of the movement that is demanding justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. So much that, the actor even visited Patna in the middle of a pandemic to visit Sushant’s family for a prayer meet after his death. This gained a lot of attention especially because netizens have been divided in the matter that there’s more to Sushant’s death than what meets the eye and many have been demanding a CBI inquiry with Shekar Suman spearheading it. The actor even spoke about it in a press conference that was held in Bihar for an RJD event. Later, Sushant’s family gave a statement saying that they felt like Shekar Suman and Sushant’s friend Sandip Ssingh were using his death for political gains.

Now Shekar Suman announced that he will be taking a backseat and not be a part of the #JusticeForSushant movement. He said he was doing this because the Sushant’s family was not supporting him and that their silence in the matter is making him uncomfortable. He put out a series of tweets explaining this to all his followers. He also mentioned that at the end of the day, it is his family’s decision.

He further added that while he may not play an active role in the movement he can be a silent force and will always be supportive of the movement. A few days ago, he had tweeted about how it was disheartening because he didn’t receive support from Sushant’s family or any political support.

Meanwhile, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to Facebook to ask people to have faith in God’s justice and thanked everyone for their support and love that they showered on them in such difficult times.
