Online harassment and bullying has been happening for the longest time, but now, people are speaking up and fighting it head on. Celebrities especially are subject to a lot of online hate and identity threats because of their accessible personalities. The OG Saki Saki girl, Koena Mitra recently took to her Twitter to call out fake Instagram fan accounts who are posting objectionable adult content on YouTube under her name.

Taking to her Twitter, she shared screenshots of the content these accounts were sharing, and wrote:

You think it’s a fan club? You mean Fans can upload shady pics and videos in my name? These accounts are just trying to defame me. Check their mail/ account details, Bio etc. If this isn’t crime then what is?

Have a look at her tweet:

Talking about the same to Times Of India, Koena said that she had thought of making her own account on Instagram only recently. She saw a fake account in her name which had more than 36.4k followers. But before she could think of reporting the account, that account reported her as fake. Because Instagram wasn’t efficient in checking whose was the fake profile, she says that she filed a complaint with the cyber crime cell. She says she wants the police to look into this matter seriously as she fears this person is fooling others using her name.

This is a serious crime and here’s hoping Koena’s account is safe.
