The digital queen, Radhika Apte, is back with a crime-drama this time and I am super excited. Recently, Netflix dropped the trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte-starrer, Raat Akeli Hai. Helmed by Honey Trehan and bankrolled by RSVP movies, Raat Akeli Hai follows a story of a small-town cop who is called on to probe the death of a politician.
Nawazuddin plays the role of Inspector Jatil Yadav who is assigned to be the scrutineer on the case of Thakur Raghubeer Singh’s mysterious demise. In the clip, he states that he will find out the truth behind the murder, no matter how many hurdles come his way.
On the other hand, Radhika plays the character of Radha, who Jatil Yadav calls Thakur Raghubeer Singh‘s “mistress”. She is considered the suspect of the murder as Raghubir is killed just before his marriage with Radha.

The film also stars Shweta Tripathi, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Nishant Dahiya, Ila Arun, Swanand Kirkire and Aditya Srivastava. It is all set to premiere on July 31 and I am super excited about this one and definitely cannot wait to watch the film!
