Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput passed away I’ve gained this newfound admiration for Kriti Sanon. I felt really sorry for how people were bullying her into putting up a post about his passing. And the way she addressed the trolls and bullies really made me give her several virtual claps. It was about time that someone stood up and spoke for what is right. The actress was also last spotted at SSR’s last rights in Mumbai and has since then been quarantining with her family. Ever since then, Kriti made her first appearance last afternoon in the city with a visit to the salon. Now that life in Mumbai seems to be resuming, people and celebrities alike are able to step out for more than groceries. Thank god for life slowly resuming because I have been missing these gorgeous Bollywood beauties and all their fashion statements.

Kriti’s choice of pastel colours are perfect to not only drive away those Monday blues but also the gloom and doom that surrounds us during the monsoons:

For her afternoon outing to the salon, Kriti was spotted in a co-ord set—a pair of skin fit peach shorts with a matching oversized denim jacket. She off-set her look with a white tank top, a much-needed break to balance out the colours. She accessorised her look with an under the arm, black handbag and a pair of white sneakers. Thankfully, rainy weather allows for layers and it’s also the perfect time to reach for those light jackets. A pastel look like hers is perfect to drive away the gloom on a rainy day. Monsoons are also the perfect time to step out in shorts because the longer your pants, the longer they take to dry off. This would apply if you do end up getting drenched in the rain.

Let me not forget to make a special mention to Kriti’s pretty grey face-mask. Please make sure to wear a face mask when you step out during this pandemic. For her beauty, she obviously stepped out with freshly blow-dried hair. And given that we can’t really see beyond people’s eyes, she skipped out on doing her make-up. So, if you’re on the lookout for a fuss-free but fun look to pull off during this quarantine and the monsoon then definitely pull a leaf out of Kriti’s book.
