Now that the lockdown has slowly lifted in Maharashtra, film and television shoots are getting back on track with the necessary protocols and precautions in place. After four months of lockdown, actor Akshay Oberoi finally went back on the sets of his upcoming series for MX Player.
Akshay was last seen in the Alt Balaji series, Hum Tum And Them opposite Shweta Tiwari. He has been enjoying his lockdown with his family, his super adorable son Avyaan. The actor took to his Instagram yesterday to post pictures of him back on set and said he had wrapped one of his most favourite projects.
Speaking about it to us exclusively, Akshay tells us that the mini series also stars Ranvir Shorey and Shweta Basu Prasad. He says that thought it was tentatively named ‘Magic‘, it is mostly going to be renamed to ‘High‘.
Akshay adds:
It’s a show about a junkie (me) who creates his own drug which turns out to be a mind expander. Kind of like Bradley Cooper’s ‘Limitless’. It’s directed by Nikhil Rao who runs the advertising agency, Jamic films. I absolutely loved working on it and I think it might be one of the best projects I’ve done.
Now, we definitely cannot wait to watch this mini series!
