It has been more than a month since Sushant Singh Rajput‘s unfortunate demise, yet, it is still being difficult for so many of his close friends, family and his fans to come to terms with his loss. This is especially true for his sister, Shweta Singh Kirti. She and Sushant were very close and shared a lovely bond. While she is trying to cope with her pain, she says that she felt like sharing her thoughts with everyone and posted a long note on her Instagram. She spoke about Sushant and her childhood and even shared a heartwarming Whatsapp chat with him just a few days before his death.

She says that her mom lost her first child, a son, when he was one-and-a-half-years-old. And after a lot of prayers, they were blessed with another son, Sushant. She recalls that they were fondly called Gudiya-Gulshan and that she was very protective of him. She says that he cried a lot once she got married and shifted to America. But once they grew older, they got busy with their lives and couldn’t spend a lot of time together.

Here is her first post:

She writes that she used to call him there to the U.S, and even shared a screenshot of a chat where she is asking her to come stay with her for a while. Sushant says, ‘Bohat mann karta he di (I really want to)‘ in response. She shows him where she went hiking and says they can do all that and spend time together if he goes there. What’s heartbreaking is that this is just a few days before his death.

She writes in the end, “I only wish I could have protected him from everything….I still wish I will wake up to see my Bhai… just right next to me and will realize this whole episode was just a nightmare and nothing more.”

She even shared a screenshot of a chat along with her post:

Here’s sending Shweta and the family all the strength to deal with this grief.
