The real-life superhero, Sonu Sood who has been tirelessly working for the welfare of the migrant labourers for 3 months now, recently launched an online job portal ‘Pravasi Rojgar’, which will also offer specific job training like spoken English. And on Thursday the actor who celebrated his 47th birthday announced three lakh jobs for the migrant labourers as the ongoing pandemic has left millions of the Indians without jobs.

The actor took to his Instagram to announce the good news. His caption read, “On my birthday a small initiative from my side. 3 lakh jobs tied up for Pravasirojgar.com. All these will provide good wages, PF, ESI and other benefits. Thank you AEPC, CITI, Trident, Quesscorp, Amazon, Sodexo, Urban Co, Portea and all others for creating these opportunities with me. #AbIndiaBanegaKamyaab @pravasirojgar”.

According to the website, Pravasi Rojgar around 450 employers have been onboarded with companies like Amazon, Sodexo, Max Healthcare and Portea. And around 1 lakh job requirements have been calculated since its inception.

Besides helping the labourers, Sonu has also helped the students and other people who were stranded in different parts of the country. The actor has been arranging for flights, trains and buses for their travel amid the lockdown.
