It’s been more than a month since the Hindi film industry lost a gem of an actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. His loss not only shook the Bollywood industry but the entire nation. And ever since his sudden demise, his fans and admirers have been demanding a CBI enquiry in the case, suspecting foul play. The Mumbai police had however declared it death by suicide and Maharastra home minister Anil Deshmukh had refused the involvement of the CBI in the case saying that the Mumbai Police are equipped and skilled enough to investigate the case. Many political figures like Subramanian Swamy, Roopa Ganguly, and Pappu Yadav had also demanded the CBI to step into the matter.

Now, the BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy has written a second letter to the PM seeking a joint investigation by the CBI, NIA and ED into’s Sushant’s demise. He took to his Twitter and shared that “Dr Subramanian @Swamy39 has written a second letter to the Prime Minister on the death of Sushant Singh Rajput urging it is now all the more important to have CBI inquiry in view of 2 States Govt involved & now the investigation is required by CBI, ED & NIA”.

Talking about the ED investigation, the MP wrote, “In my latest letter I have requested the PM to direct the Enforcement Directorate and NIA be asked to investigate the circumstances leading to the mysterious death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Subsequently, we can have an SIT consisting of CBI and these two national agencies.” Actor Kangana Ranaut also responded to tweet by thanking him for the initiative.
