When Fenty Beauty first launched, I remember being so excited! From having an inclusive range of foundations to swoon-worthy lipsticks and highlighters, the brand truly made its mark in the beauty industry. Thus, when Rihanna announced that she was venturing into skincare, I could hardly wait.
Finally, after weeks of teasing us, RiRi has blessed us with a trio of products that are ideal for those looking for a basic, yet effective routine. What sets this range apart is that the formulas are 100% vegan and gluten-free. The eco-friendly packaging is also a huge plus point! If you are interested in trying the line out, here are the products that have been launched:
1. Fenty Skin Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser
This creamy cleanser promises to remove all the grime and makeup from your face, without stripping it dry. Infused with Barbados cherry extract, green tea, quince, fig and ginkgo biloba, this oil-free cleanser is full of antioxidants and vitamin C. Regular use should leave you with a softer, brighter and more balanced complexion. Plus, it smells like coconut and cherries – a scent that is bound to lift your spirits!
2. Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum
I’m most intrigued by this product! Although it features similar ingredients as the cleanser, it also contains niacinamide, which is known to tackle hyperpigmentation, and cactus flower, which is great at hydrating the skin. Whilst it can be used on every type of skin, I think that it would best suit those with combination skin, as it works to reduce sebum production and minimises the appearance of pores, whilst delivering adequate moisture to your face.
3. Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen
Clearly, Rihanna knows the importance of sunscreen! Comprised of hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, watermelon seed extract and aloe, this reef-safe cream is a real workhorse. Not only does it protect your skin from sun damage, but also keeps it radiant and supple. Although it has a pink tint, it dries down invisibly so that your face never looks ashy. The bottle is also refillable – once you are through with the formula, just replace the cartridge with another.
