Our B-town celebrities are doing in their best capacity to help people during these trying times. Akshay Kumar was one of the celebrities to donate a whopping amount of 25 crores to the PM Relief Fund. Not only this, but he had also helped the Mumbai Police with sanitizers and face masks so that they can deal with the coronavirus better. And now, the actor has equipped the Mumbai Police with a health tracking device. It gives a constant reading of blood pressure, oxygen and body temperature. Akshay had helped the Nashik Police with the same earlier.

Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Aditya Thackeray applauded the actor by taking to his Twitter handle. He said that he and Akshay also spoke about equipping the trackers to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), who has also been working tirelessly towards fighting the virus.

Aditya Thackeray’s tweet read—

Earlier today, @akshaykumar ji handed over fitness- health tracking devices to @MumbaiPolice. It gives a constant reading of oxygen, body temp and heart rate, helpful in Covid battle. Last month, Akshay ji gave it to @nashikpolice.

He further added that—

Akshay ji has always supported our nation’s armed forces, police in various states. I’m thankful to him for his concern for our covid warriors and we also discussed about giving some of these trackers to the @mybmc for use.
