David Beckham is one of the biggest football stars in the world. He was on the top of his game during his football days and even after his retirement his popularity and craze have only been soaring. Now, according to reports, the former footballer is in talks with streaming giants like Netflix and Amazon Prime to helm a film on his life. He says that the recent documentary of Michael Jordan, The Last Dance inspired him.

The Sun quoted a source saying that—

It’s something David is excited about and has wanted to do for a while. The film will feature new content and archive footage.

It’s going to be about David’s life post-football, especially the creation of his new team in Miami, but will have some personal content too.

Interest in his life and family is huge. Everyone has high hopes for this.

He will reportedly produce the film himself under his Studio 99 which he launched last year.

David Beckham, who at present, owns a team in the Major League Soccer (MLS) Inter Miami, was a part of Manchester United’s ‘Class of 92’, a crop of academy graduates who attained huge success with the club. He was also a part of the treble-winning side of 1999 and the winner of five Premier League titles during his time at the Old Trafford.
