Sooraj Pancholi Clarifies That The Girl In The Viral Picture Is His Friend And Not Disha Salian

News of Sushant Singh Rajput‘s unfortunate death by suicide on June 14th has the entire country shook. His family, friends and fans are still looking for answers behind his untimely death. Just yesterday, the Centre gave a go-ahead for the CBI to probe into his case.

While everyone wants justice for him, there are a lot of theories floating about his death in the media. One such is a theory connecting his death to his ex-manager Disha Salian‘s suicide. News channels are linking actor Sooraj Pancholi to the case saying he knew and even partied with Disha Salian based on a viral picture that is being circulated. Last night, he took to his Instagram to clear this misunderstanding and claims that it is a picture taken in 2016 and even tagged the girl in the picture who is his friend, Anushri Gaur, not Disha.

He says he has had enough of all the “fake” news floating about and asks to not be dragged and harassed for something he has no connection with. He adds that such irresponsible allegations can destroy people’s lives. In his post, Sooraj re-iterates that he has never met Disha Salian in his life.

Here’s what he wrote:

Complete bullshit!! #FuckYouFakeMEDIA. Is this the media we are supposed to trust?? That girl in the picture which was clicked in 2016 is not “Disha Salian” that is my friend @agaur21 (Anushri Gaur) who doesn’t even live in India..Please stop brainwashing people and PLEASE stop harassing me and dragging me into this! Start being responsible of your actions as it can ruin someone’s life! I have said this before and I’m saying it again “I have never met or spoken to Disha Salian in my life” Seriously FUCK YOU AND FUCK YOUR FAKE NEWS! I’ve had enough.

Just yesterday, Dino Morea also took to his social media to rubbish allegations made by former Maharashtra Chief Minister, Narayan Rane, that he hosted a party at his residence and invited Sushant too, on the night of 13th June, a day before the actor’s demise.
