Kiara Advani And Varun Dhawan Step Out In Fun Monsoon Looks

It feels like aeons since we’ve been on lockdown, well if I’m being precise then it’s been about 5 months. But it slowly but surely looks like Bollywood is going back to a new normal. We’ve seen actors stepping out a little more now and we’re always ecstatic about that. Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi and crew recently flew out to the UK to being shooting Bell Bottom. And then we see, Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan coming out of the old Dharma office in Mumbai. We can’t help but feel hopeful about seeing them on-screen together in the near future.

Kiara Advani

Kiara starred in Netflix‘s Guilty—a thriller about sexual assault, produced by Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions. The actress actually seems to have an impressive line-up of upcoming films; Shershaah with rumoured BF and co-star Sidharth Malhotra. She will also be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Laxmmi Bomb—a remake of a Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kartik Aaryan and Indoo Ki Jawani—a coming-of-age film co-starring Aditya Seal.

Kiara who recently celebrated her birthday stepped out in a bright, aqua green, midi-dress. The dress featured a tie-up detail on the straps and is the perfect, summer dress to be hitting a beach in. A plunging but modest neckline with a button-up front, the dress was also tiered in nature. She accessorised her look with matching, embellished, beach sandals and her trusty DIOR black and white houndstooth embroidery book tote. And of course, Kiara’s gorgeous floral print face mask that stands out even more against the poppy colour of her cotton dress. Ugh, her look totally makes me miss the summer that never was.

Varun Dhawan

For Varun, on the work front, he will be seen next in David Dhawan’s Coolie No. 1 with Sara Ali Khan. The movie was supposed to hit the theatres this May 1st but had to be pushed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown. He was last seen with Shraddha Kapoor in the dance film, Street Dancer 3D. Varun will also be soon seen playing the role of military officer Arun Khetarpal.

Varun obviously sported quarantine hair and it is totally unexpected to see him in a man bun. I’m still unsure about how well it suits him though, thoughts? He, however, looked dapper in a denim jacket with camo-print detail on the sleeves, that really amped up the vibe of his look. He paired it with a V-neck, black tee and light blue, ripped jeans. His black and brown shoes seemed weather-appropriate but definitely not a great match to his otherwise cool look. Of course, the actor wore a mask—a black one from Reebok.
