Malaika Arora is not someone that plays safe when it comes to fashion. The actor likes to have fun with her style and more often than not, swears by “go big or go home”. Her bold choices with risqué hints are something to always look forward to. That being said, she’s also quite versatile with her style picks. She aces Indian-wear just as effortlessly as she nails loungewear or workout-wear. The ‘unlocking’ of the lockdown has given everyone a sartorial boost; everyone’s grabbing the opportunity to dress their best. So is Malaika. The star has resumed working on the sets of India’s Best Dancer and boy is she going all out on her style choices! She commenced work after 4 months of quarantine, first, in a stunning metallic dress by Malak El Ezzawy and then in an OTT, ‘windy’, tulle number by Wilhja. Latest addition to her kitty is an Amit Aggarwal number—a blue, metallic turtleneck worn with a pleated, asymmetrical skirt infused with the designer’s signature metallic cord design.
For her latest work outfit, stylist Maneka Harisinghani styled the actor in a show-stopping Amit Aggarwal creation, which was nothing short of extravagance! The full-sleeved blouse came in a high, round neck and was painted with a striking blue hue, while the metallic touch added a whole lot of drama to the look. The actress paired it with a skirt with an asymmetrical hemline. The metallic, knife-pleated silhouette was accentuated with a layered fabric featuring the designer’s classic cord technique. The layer formed a frilly design adding a playful touch to the look.
The silver metallic heels that rounded off the actor’s look effortlessly upped the ante of the outfit! Leaving her ensemble to do most of the talking, Malaika skipped on any additional accessories. In the beauty department, the actor sported matte brown lips and heavily bronzed eyes, leaving her lustrous mane open.
