How the challenge works

The challenge is pretty simple, you start with fun optimistic pictures (because in January, we thought this year is going to be great) and slowly as you progress, your pictures become sadder and angrier (as this year turned out to be completely uncertain and scary). This challenge was initially called the ‘Reese Witherspoon Challenge‘ which slowly became viral with the hashtags #2020Challenge #2020Mood. Moreover, the challenge soon found it’s way to India as well, check out all the memes our favourite creators made!

1. Siddharth Nigam

Looks like this year isn’t going well even for the beloved Aladdin. We are sure all of you can relate to this, don’t you?

2. Anmol Bhatia

We love how Anmol took creativity to another level and incorporated a mask in her pictures. That has become the most important element of our attire these days!

3. Ruhii Singh

Looks like Ruhii has one static mood since the month of June and honestly so do many of us. Nevertheless, hoping for better days to come soon. (PS – We are big fans of her smile)!

4. Saransh Goila

Saransh is our major mood! Has accurately represented how we survived our July and August and what we plan to do in September as well.

5. Sameeksha Sud

This TIME shall pass too.. ✌🏻#keepgoing

Sameeksha also took part in the challenge but in her own unique way. Teen Tigada has decided to take the positive approach and we love how they always keep their spirits high.

6. Akasa Singh

It’s awesome to see so many creators take part in this challenge. Akasa gave this challenge a different twist, her pictures are inspired from her latest track ‘Naiyyo‘ and we love it!

7. Karishma Govil a.k.a @soul_kari

@soul_kari’s July picture is our personal favourite! And yes, even we wish we could just skip this year completely.

8. Priya Adivarekar

It is amazing how new challenges always spile creativity among people. Priya decided to incorporate filters in this challenge, we like how she used the cute masked filter for the month of September.

We think this is the most relatable challenge we have seen this year and we love it. It also subtly implies that we are all in the same boat, you are not alone in feeling the way you do. What are you waiting for? Use the hashtag and join the trend! Trust us, we would love to see your version of it too.
