Kasautii Zindagii Kay’s actor Parth Samthaan who was diagnosed with COVID-19  a while ago has recovered successfully. The actor had contracted the virus after he started shooting post the lockdown. But according to a report by Pinkvilla, his presence in the show might not be for long, as the actor is reportedly planning to quit the Ekta Kapoor show. Parth who plays the role of Anurag Basu in the rebooted version wants to leave in order to shift focus on his health and his upcoming projects.

The portal quoted a source as saying—

Parth wants to now direct his attention towards his health and the other projects he is in talks with. Ekta Kapoor has been trying to persuade Parth into retainment but the actor has expressed his wish to opt out. The production, in the meantime, has already started to consider actors to step in Parth’s shoes but are finding it difficult.

The actor had earlier also revealed about a Bollywood project he is in talks with. He had said, “There’s a good chance that I’ll be doing a film this year”.

Recently we saw Karan Patel stepping into Karan Singh Grover’s shoes as Mr Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Earlier Aamna Sharif had replaced Hina Khan as Komolika.
