Sushant Singh Rajput‘s US-based sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, and her family have been fighting to get justice for the actor’s unfortunate death two months ago. Shweta . She has been relentlessly voicing for justice and truth to prevail. She even released a video plea yesterday requesting the entire nation’s support for a CBI inquiry into the case. Now, marking the two month death anniversary of her younger brother, she took to her social media to initiate a global spiritual prayer for Sushant’s soul on 15th August, tomorrow, at 10 AM, and to collectively pray for justice.
She took to her social media and wrote: “It has been 2 months you left us Bhai and we are still fighting to know the truth, to know what actually happened that day. I request you all to please join us for Global 24-hour spiritual and prayer observation for Sushant Singh Rajput, so that the truth prevails and we find justice for our beloved Sushant.”

Following her message, Ankita Lokhande and a lot of celebrities also followed and shared their plea for a CBI inquiry with the hashtag #CBIForSSR. Celebrities like Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Kangana Ranaut, Daisy Shah, Parineeti Chopra took to their social media to stand by Sushant and his family and demanded a fair trial in finding the truth behind his demise.
Kriti Sanon wrote that a CBI investigation was the only way in which the investigation can take place “without any political agenda” and that the family deserved to find closure. Varun Dhawan joined in and wrote “#CBIForSSR”. Sooraj Pancholi, who earlier cleared misunderstandings about his involvement in the death of Sushant’ s ex-manager, Disha Salian, also came out in support of a CBI intervention in the case.
