Alia Bhatt is an endearing Bollywood starlet to watch on-screen. You can hate on her and say all sorts of things related to nepotism but she’s proved her mettle. She is stylish and talented and definitely puts in the work to emulate these roles for her films. Alia featured in the 30 Under 30 list in Forbes Asia and even launched her own production company called Eternal Sunshine Productions. Maybe because she’s the original sunshine girl with that radiant smile of hers. The star’s next movie up for release is her father’s directorial comeback Sadak 2, opposite Sanjay Dutt. The movie is not set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her upcoming projects include in Gangubai Kathiawadi—a biopic directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is about the titular gangster and madam of a Kamathipura brothel. She is currently continuing filming with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor for Ayan Mukerji‘s fantasy film trilogy called Brahmāstra. Interestingly, she is also doing a Telugu-language period film called RRR opposite N.T.Rama Rao. Jr and Ram Charan.

I feel more celebrities need to embrace the free silhouette and by that, I mean an outfit that doesn’t stick to one’s body. One such celebrity to embrace this trend is Alia Bhatt who stepped out in Mumbai recently in an Indo-western look. The actress wore an all-grey look, a long-sleeved kurta with buttons till the chest and matching cigarette style pants. She accessorised her look with chunky, kolhapuri-style, grey heels from Aprajita Toor and her tan Gucci X Disney collection tote bag. The bag costs a cool 1,30,000/- rupees approximately, ah! the tales of the good life. Moving on, I love her dangly silver earrings paired against her Apple watch, nothing gets me going like a good mix of Indian and western trends.

The outfit looks super comfortable and versatile because that kurta can be worn as a dress with a belt or even paired with a maxi skirt. The high-low hemline of the kurta makes it interesting to wear with other items in one’s closet. Doesn’t Alia look great in this grey thought? I think grey is the perfect colour to wear if you want to match the sky.

Alia looks fantastic no matter how she wears her hair or makeup. This time she sports a middle-parted, slick back ponytail. I’ve noticed that Alia doesn’t seem to wear a lot of makeup when she isn’t shooting, so it’s clear that she would step out sans makeup. And totally let her look do the talking. She upped the colour scheme of the outfit by pairing it with a bright blue facemask from Adidas.
