Aamir Khan recently flew to Turkey to finish off bits of his upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha. A few days ago, pictures and videos of him getting mobbed by fans at the Turkey airport upon his arrival were all over social media. The shooting of Laal Singh Chaddha was stalled because of the lockdown in India due to the pandemic. The film which was supposed to release some time this year is now postponed to next year.
Today, the pictures of him with the First Lady of Turkey is going viral. Turkish First Lady, Emine Erdogan took to Twitter to share some pictures with the actor and expressed her happiness that Aamir will be completing his movie in Turkey. In the pictures shared by her, you can see Aamir in conversation with her on a scenic balcony in the country. Aamir is still sporting his grey look.

But, many users on Twitter are not taking kindly to his meeting with the Turkish first lady. Many Twitter users have called him a hypocrite for meeting with her amidst strained relations between India and Turkey. Reportedly, after India scrapped Article 370, Turkey has been on Pakistan’s side on the Kashmir issue.
Laal Singh Chaddha also features Kareena Kapoor Khan in a lead role.
