Sanjay Dutt was recently admitted to the hospital after he complained of breathing issues. It was later revealed that he has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Though he has not officially spoken about it, he announced that he will be taking a short break from work for ‘some medical treatment’.

Just yesterday, pictures of the actor and his sister, Priya Dutt, visiting Lilavati hospital were circulated all over the internet. Mumbai Mirror reports that Sanjay and his sister were there to meet a senior pulmonologist named Dr. Jalil Parkar to discuss the further course of treatments. Their meeting reportedly lasted for about three hours, after which Sanjay stayed back for another round of tests.

It is also stated in the report that the actor is set to start his chemotherapy treatment in Kokilaben Hospital as he had visited the hospital on Saturday.

But, it was earlier reported that Sanjay was looking at travelling to the US to receive treatment from the same place that his late mother, Nargis Dutt, went to.

On the work front, Sanjay was set to complete the dubbing for his upcoming film, Sadak 2, which is set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on 28th August. The executive producer of K.G.F: Chapter 2, Karthik Gowda, also gave a statement to Times Of India that Sanjay was going to return to the sets of the film after three months, post his treatment.

We wish Sanjay a very speedy recovery.
