Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a bearer of multiple hats—Miss World 2000, actor, producer and philanthropist. The globetrotter who is celebrated for her talent globally is also looked up to for her fashion-forward self. Over the years, the star has had a noteworthy style evolution. From modest dressing to bold and fearless choices, she has made it abundantly clear that she is not afraid to experiment. And so, always steers clear from safe-dressing.

But like everyone, even Priyanka has a go-to sartorial favourite she can’t get enough of. She has a certain penchant for dressing in one colour from head to toe. Monochrome has been a favoured trend ever since the actor made a move to Hollywood. Either in the same, solid hue or different shades, Priyanka’s take on a monochromatic colour palette is for the books. Ahead, we show you PC’s take on monochrome dressing!

7 monochrome looks from Priyanka Chopra’s kitty to take a note of:

1. In shades of red

Leave it to Priyanka to effortlessly sport a colour so bold, head-to-toe. Spotted on the streets of NYC back in 2018, the actor wore an upgraded version of the pantsuit by Alejandra Alonso Rojas featuring a dramatic, plunging neckline. The red pantsuit came in a striped pattern with a deeper shade of red. Priyanka layered her suit with a red trench coat by Vivienne Westwood and accessorised it with red pumps by Christian Louboutin. With a colour so loud, the trick is to pare it down with minimal accessories to not make it look as though the outfit is wearing you. In PC’s case, it was her mini, black bag sleek, black sunnies and golden hoops.

2. In pink

Lounging or not, we can’t tell because Priyanka’s ‘dressed-down’ also looks ‘dressed-up’! Monochromatic outfits have that ability to help you look dressy and the actor’s all-pink tracksuit is the perfect example. But she took it one notch higher by teaming a pair of white boots with her outfit and we love the colour scheme of her OOTN.

3. In shades of blue

Back when the actor was busy promoting The Sky Is Pink, she made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in a sky blue look. Instead of going with just plain blue, Priyanka paired her turtleneck blouse with a shiny, darker blue skirt. If you’re someone who wants to make things interesting with a single colour, play around with its shades and hues, just like Priyanka.

4. In bright orange

If you have an event with Vogue and Saks Fifth Avenue on your calendar, then it’s your moral duty to dress your absolute best! And Priyanka leaned on her fashion BFF—the monochrome trend—for the event. She picked a bright orange pantsuit by Offwhite. Take cues from PC on how to not go overboard with accessories when it comes to monochromatic looks with hues so vibrant! She completed her look with dangly, golden earrings and clear, PVC heels.

5. In muted blue

For a night out in the Big Apple, Priyanka wore a quirky version of the skirt-suit in a muted blue hue. The skirt-suit featured risqué details like cuts on the bust and a deep, V-neckline. Of course, the sexy cut-outs of the outfit were the highlights but the unicolour of the outfit made it that much more interesting. Priyanka Chopra surely knows how to work a monochrome outfit even with a subtle hue! A pair of diamond earrings and white, strappy heels rounded off her look.

6. In shades of white

For an event in Dubai, Priyanka opted for all-white separates and looked like an epitome of class. An off-white pantsuit served as her primary pick that she teamed with a pristine white blouse. Tinted blue sunnies and checkered pumps completed her look for the day. Love how she played with different shades of white to up the impact of her outfit!

7. In lime green

By now, it’s clear that the star does not settle for colours that are not eye-grabbers. Back during the promotional rounds of The Sky Is Pink, Priyanka left no sartorial stone unturned. And this lime-green outfit is a testament to that. She teamed a lime green blouse featuring exaggerated frilly sleeves with trousers in the same hue. Neither was her outfit too-much or too-less, even in an unusual colour like that. The trick? Simple silhouettes, minimal accessories and a whole lot of confidence!
