Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has resumed shooting for the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. On Sunday, the Piku actor took to his Instagram to share a picture from the sets of the show.

Sharing the picture, he wrote— “… it’s back to work .. in a sea of blue PPE .. KBC 12 .. started 2000 .. today year 2020 .. 20 years! Amaze .. that’s a lifetime !!” He mentioned how he was surrounded by people in PPE kits. This year is also special as it marks 20 years of him as the host of KBC. The first season of the show aired from 2000-2001. It is an Indian adaptation of the British show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

Amitabh Bachchan had recently contracted coronavirus and was hospitalised in Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital for 2 weeks. And as soon as his 14-day quarantine period got over, the star announced that he was missing work and trying to get back in front of the camera. Writing about joining the sets of KBC 12 in his blog, he had said, “Lots of prep and presentation for the starting of KBC promo shoots and the KBC itself .. detailed protocol of how its all going to be done with maximum safety precautions.”

On the professional front, the megastar was last seen in Shoojit Sircar‘s, Gulabo Sitabo co-starring Ayushmann Khuranna. The film was among the first to release on an OTT platform.
