Sonam Kapoor is currently chilling with hubby Anand Ahuja in London. Last we saw the two of celebrate Anand’s birthday in true Bollywood fashion. Sonam looks like she’s slowly morphing into a Londoner herself with her lightweight jackets and her hipster mixing of styles. And, of course, anything that Sonam wears becomes the next big trend of the season. She just seems to have the knack of putting clothes together effortlessly. The actress recently stepped out in London to shop for wallpaper for a new exciting space as she mentions on her Instagram. If Sonam is designing a space, I am beyond excited to see what she comes up. She chose wallpaper that served as a great background for her OOTD photograph that she then posted to her Instagram. We see Bollywood ace the pantsuit trend over and over again making us well-versed on the subject. But, it’s time for the pantsuit to moveover and make way for a new wave of fashion. The skirt-suit hit the trend circuit in the early ’80s and ’90s and we see a glimmer of it’s revival. Leave it to Sonam Kapoor to put a twist to an all-time favourite look. The actress wears a powder blue longline, light trench coat with a matching ankle-length, a-line skirt from Bouguessa. Instead, for opting for old ways of styling she pairs her suit with a long white, v-neck blouse because this gives it a more casual touch.
She accessorised her look with statement earrings and a matching necklace from The Olio Stories as it added a nice Indian touch to her modern look. I like the way she added a pop of colour to her look with a leather, cobalt blue drawstring, bucket bag from Odeem. And, with her husband Anand Ahuja’s love for sneakers it is no surprise that he is rubbing off on Sonam. So it makes sense for her to wear white Nike sneakers to keep to the tones in her ensemble.
Sonam pulled her hair back into a nice and tight low-bun, revealing her gorgeous jawline. Blush pink lipstick and filled in brows finished off her beauty for this look.
