According to reports, actor Sanjay Dutt was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. His wife Maanayata Dutt also shared in a statement that the initial treatment of the actor will continue in Mumbai’s Kolkilaeben Hospital. Now a report by Times Of India suggests that Sanjay’s close friend and Torbaaz producer Rahul Mittra rubbished the news of the actor’s cancer being in the last stages.

Talking to the publication, the producer dismissed the news. He said that Sanju is undergoing preliminary treatment in Mumbai and the results of certain tests are yet to come. Rahul also said that his friend is a fighter and will come out of this too as a winner. He further said that he is not saying this out of emotions but facts as well. The producer urged people to stop speculating and asked them to just wish good for him.

On the professional front, Sanjay Dutt will be next seen in Mahesh Bhatt‘s Sadak 2 which also stars Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is all set to premiere on August 28 on Disney+Hotstar. The actor also has Torbaaz, KGF Chapter 2, Shamshera and Bhuj: The Pride Of India.

We wish for Sanjay Dutt’s speedy recovery.
