Amidst the CBI investigations on actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s untimely demise, his former girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, decided to break her silence and gave a few interviews yesterday. Sushant’s family has accused Rhea of abetment to suicide, living off his money and distancing him from his family. Sushant’s ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande, had also supported Sushant’s family in their allegations against Rhea.
But Rhea, in her interview with India Today TV, posed questions over Ankita’s statement saying Sushant had changed post Rhea’s entry into his life. She asked her about the last time Ankita spoke to Sushant to make her statement. She shares that Sushant hadn’t spoken to Ankita in the longest time. She also said that Ankita was living in Sushant’s flat. Responding to these claims, Ankita took to her social media to share a note of the clarifications from her end.
In her note, Ankita wrote that she was with Sushant until February 2016, and that Sushant never had any conditions of depression, nor did he visit a psychiatrist. She says that she never said she spoke to or was in touch with Sushant post their separation. She adds that in all her interviews, she was only speaking about the time she was with him. About the flat, she says that she has already presented the facts when she shared the pictures of her bank statements showing she was paying her flat’s EMI. In the end, she says that she stands by the family’s side, and not Rhea’s.
